Dating, we believe to the late 18th century, this fine example of the art of Cut Steel is shaped as a buckle but can be pinned as a brooch making it a wonderfully versatile piece to accessorise your clothing. A gorgeous marquise shape, one of the most fashionable of its day it shows leafesque shapes and tiny flowers each one riveted to the backpiece, entirely hand crafted.
